by Paul Roberts
Paul is a solar power enthusiast and decided to use his Lincoln Electric welders to build a solar tracker.
The solar tracker is made from square tubing and old 4-inch drill stem pipe. Paul says it works perfectly and he saved about $4,000 by doing the project himself.
Paul owns three Lincoln Electric welders -- a Weld-Pak® 100 wire feeder welder, AC-225 stick welder and a 1988 Weldanpower® engine driven welder he recently restored.
Paul works in the medical field and likes doing backyard projects like the solar tracker. Regarding the Weld-Pak® 100, Paul wrote "I love the little welder."

Only limited details are available and the projects have NOT been engineered by the Lincoln Electric Company. Therefore, when you use the ideas for projects of your own, you must develop your own details and plans and the safety and performance of your work is your responsibility.
