The Chellissa fishing boat was rebuilt this past winter using Lincoln DC-600 multi-process power sources paired with LN-22 and LN-25 wire feeders. The materials used in the rebuild included mild steel, 304 stainless and 316 stainless.
We used the stick and self-shielded flux-cored welding processes and a variety of electrode types: E6011, E7018, E7024, 308L, 309L, 316, and Innershield® NR-211-MP. We started the project in August and finished the following January.
The boat is primarily used in Alaska for catching Cod and Pollock and a short season of Hake fishing on the West Coast.
