Bruce Chantry, Portfolio Manager, Welding Equipment and Joe Daniel, Manager of Machine Technology R & D, to present at the “What’s New in Power Sources” program; Lincoln Electric products also showcased in special FABTECH Theater presentations
Cleveland – Lincoln Electric experts will dominate the speaking platforms at the2011 FABTECH International Showat McCormick Place in Chicago, Ill.
Chantry and Daniel both will present at the full-day“What’s New in Power Sources” conference program on Wed., Nov. 16 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Chantry will discuss new developments in welding Production Monitoring™ solutions, while Daniel will cover important information on the WeldScore™ weld quality evaluation system.
Chantry has been with Lincoln Electric for more than 15 years, most recently as Portfolio Manager, Welding Equipment. Earlier, he completed a six-year assignment as Regional Manager for the Company’s Sub-Saharan Africa region, where he significantly grew the business and helped establish Lincoln Electric’s presence as an industry leader. Chantry also has served in Lincoln Electric’s Moline, Ill., and Grand Rapids, Mich., sales offices. Chantry holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from The Colorado School of Mines and has completed Lincoln Electric’s International Business Development (IBD) program.
Daniel is the Manager of Machine Technology R & D at Lincoln Electric, and has been with the Company for more than 20 years. He holds a bachelor’s in electrical engineering from DeVry University.
Additionally, two Lincoln technical experts will showcase new product technology in the FABTECH Theater during special 30-minute presentations. Days and times have yet to be determined.
- Paul Denney, Lincoln Electric Automation Division laser materials processing expert, will discuss “Hot Wire Laser Processing,” a new approach to depositing material that combines the use of traditional power sources with lasers.
- Jeff Bennett, Managing Director, VERNON Tool™, will demonstrate the easy-to-use VERNON Tool™ Razor™ – Automated Plasma Tube Cutting Machine, in a presentation entitled, “A Revolution in Tube Fabrication – Automated Plasma Tube Cutting and Profiling.”
